The highest level as standard

Controlled processes are designed to achieve reliable results in all areas at Galliker. The principles of quality assurance, product safety and occupational safety are therefore part of our working methods and are reflected in our certifications, which we are constantly renewing and expanding.

ISO certifications and their relevance in transportation:

ISO (International Organization for Standardization) defines globally recognized standards that help organizations implement and improve best practices. In transportation, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 are two of the most important certificates.

ISO 9001 focuses on quality management and ensures that a company is able to meet customer requirements and continuously improve customer satisfaction. In the transport sector, this means constant optimization of processes, from order acceptance to delivery, to ensure a reliable and high-quality service.

ISO 14001, on the other hand, focuses on environmental management and the reduction of environmental impact. This is particularly important for transport and logistics companies, as the aim is to minimize the environmental impact of operations, whether through the use of more environmentally friendly means of transport or through efficient resource management.

ISO 45001 focuses on occupational health and safety management. It supports organizations in creating a safe and healthy working environment and preventing occupational accidents and work-related illnesses. In transportation, the implementation of safety measures in accordance with ISO 45001 is crucial to ensure the well-being of employees while maintaining business continuity.

ISO 27001 is a standard for information security management. This standard aims to help organizations secure their sensitive information and data from threats such as hacking, data loss and unauthorized access. In transportation, where data on shipments, routes and customers is highly sensitive, this is becoming increasingly essential. The certification process is currently still underway and should be completed by the end of 2024.

Compliance with international quality standards

Since the first international car transports in 1965, Galliker Transport AG has been increasingly active throughout Europe. in 1988, the first of today's 6 branches outside Switzerland was opened in Belgium. In order to meet the high international demands for efficient, sustainable and reliable transport and logistics solutions, Galliker attaches great importance to complying with international standards. While most certificates (ISO, FSSC) are internationally valid, further requirements are covered by certificates such as the AFMPS (Agence Fédérale des Médicaments et des Produits de Santé) Belgium.
