Galliker Transport AG in Altishofen, Gondrand International AG in Basel and Van der Luyt Transport in Oegstgeest, NL have entered a strategic partnership taking effect today under the name Swiss Flowers Network. The agreement aims at developing the shared interests of the three partners in the very specific cut-flowers logistics business. Together, the three partners offer to the Swiss flowers market an integrated and reliable import chain and distribution system, key elements to grow the sales of a very fragile product like cut flowers whose lifespan is very short.

The three family owned business have been active in this segment for more than half a century and can thus boast an unequalled competence in the transport, handling and customs processing of this delicate product. Speed, reliability of the transport environment and handling are the determining factors to bring flowers in perfect condition on the market.
