On February 24 th. 2008, The Family-Holding Galliker is taking over both the companies Activeroad in Rodange, Luxembourg and B&E Pellser in Messancy, Belgium.

Active Road is a transports and logistics enterprise counting 24 employed and 15 vehicles. Next to local activities, the Luxembourg based company is operating international transports for customers in France, Switzerland and Italy. Active Road will remain an independant company and will under this constellation be managed in close cooperation with the international platforms of Galliker.

B&E Pellser, sister-company to Active Road, is running a 10'000 m² logistics centre in the near to the Luxembourg border located place of Messancy, whereof approx. 5'000 m² are rented. The activities of B&E Pellser will be fully integrated in Galliker Transports S.A. Liège.      

Through these acquisitions, Galliker endeavours to settle even stronger in the economically strongly growing region of the Belgium, France, Luxembourg border-triangle and at the same time develop the long tradition Galliker Italy – Switzerland – Belgium transport line. Synergies between the activities of the international branches of Galliker and the new companies in Belgium and Luxembourg will be consequently exploited and developed.
