Galliker-Apprentices who successfully complete SwissSkills

SwissSkills 2025 provided an impressive stage for young professional talents from all over Switzerland - and Galliker was right in the middle of it all. Four apprentices from the fields of road transport, logistics and IT competed with a lot of passion, preparation and team spirit to measure themselves against the best in their field. It is clear to us that anyone who takes part in SwissSkills goes one step further - both professionally and personally. This is precisely why we invest in targeted preparation, practical support and a training environment with prospects with the Galliker Academy.

The great performance of our four candidates

Nico Eicher competed in the IT category. In one day, he had to set up and configure a complete IT platform in a public cloud. And how he did it - he finished on the podium and achieved an outstanding 3rd place in his discipline!

Apuurvan Ravindran and Andrin Lars Hottinger demonstrated their logistical skills in various disciplines. They drove a forklift truck through narrow courses, had to correctly assemble pallet patterns, maneuver through the "hot wire" and master tasks such as incoming goods, order picking and loading goods. Both showed strong performances over the four days - Andrin with an excellent 5th place, Apuurvan with an equally great 18th place.

As a road transport specialist,Robin Köhle completed a practical program in the elimination process with tasks such as changing wheels, balancing on a seesaw, a forklift course, the blind spot challenge and much more. With a great performance, he placed in the top 16 in Switzerland.

Impressive performances - lasting impact

What our participants achieved deserves the utmost respect. The tasks were demanding, the pressure was high - and yet they delivered and impressed. Their motivation and ability to surpass themselves reflect exactly what the Galliker Academy stands for: room for development and enthusiasm for the profession.

We would like to thank our apprentices for their impressive commitment and congratulate them on their strong performance. You are a role model - for many who come after you.
