It takes some getting used to: a 40-ton truck that you can hardly hear and only uses batteries to transport goods throughout Switzerland. However, we are relying more and more on electric and hydrogen trucks. We explain what else we are doing for greener mobility and what the biggest challenges are in the "Discovering the economy" program.

Imbach Logistics Center Lucerne – Full e-power from the roof

The new photovoltaic system has been fully operational on the roof of Imbach Logistik AG's new logistics center in Lucerne since June 2025. While the first, smaller part of the system has been producing green electricity for five years, the second phase of construction has now also been completed.
