New PV system in Conthey

Our first photovoltaic system was commissioned in 2012 - the existing PV network has now been expanded by 3,600 m2 to a total of 77,000 m2 in October 2023. Over 2,100 hours of sunshine now provide even more power in the Galliker network every year.

New PV system in Conthey

The new system in Conthey (VS) has an output of almost 785 kWp. Combined with the second-highest sunshine duration in Switzerland, which Valais can boast, this provides plenty of power. Valuable energy, which we at Galliker can use optimally for the logistics building in Conthey, but also for the e-charging stations already installed for our electric trucks, whose fleet is also being continuously expanded.

As of November 2023, 36 e-trucks are on the road between our branches every day - thanks to the power of the solar system, we are opening up a new charging option that is powered by renewable energy. In this way, we bring the Valais sun as energy directly onto the road and can continue to MOVE BIG THINGS in a clean and sustainable way. All in line with our long-term green logistics strategy.
