Energy surcharge

The sharp rise in prices in the energy sector leads to additional costs in the area of storage logistics. In order to reflect the volatile energy costs fairly in our pricing structure, the resulting additional costs are passed on to our customers with a "floating" energy surcharge.

The current energy surcharge can be read off the current "Galliker energy floater" depending on the different storage temperature ranges. The energy floaters are updated weekly. The energy surcharge for the current month is always based on the average electricity price of the previous month. The electricity prices in the spot market reports of the Swiss Federal Electricity Commission (ElCom) serve as the reference source. In the spot market reports published weekly, the weekly average of the base price Switzerland is used as the reference value for the electricity price. www.elcom.admin.ch
