Expansion in Oensingen for our customer Jumbo
On Tuesday, 29th May 2018 the official opening and handover of the new warehouse to the responsible logistics manager of Jumbo took place. The three existing warehouses in Oensingen were supplemented in the direction of the motorway with the imposing hall 4.
The new building is 60 m wide, 75 m long, 16 m high and was built without stanchion. The new building serves an additional space for our long-term customer Jumbo for the storage of wood, garden and building products. With this extension, the storage area will increase to 18’000 m2.
The lamellar facade ensures ventilation and at the same time prevents the ingress of rainwater. The new building is specially planned for the storage of wood and fully meets the requirements for large dimensions and special storage conditions.
With an area of 3’740 m2 produces the photovoltaic system on the roof 604 kWp of electricity. This corresponds to an annual electricity consumption of 100 single-family homes.
